Project Snapshot
The site was the former gasholder station in central Epsom, a council controlled by Independents. Planning consent was granted to build 456 new homes in buildings up to 12 storeys along with the reprovision of a performing arts centre. The Terrapin Group devised a strategy which sought to win the support of a varied and independtly-minded community. We carried out wide ranging public engagement and consultation, which briefed residents, stakeholder groups and councillors. A great result in a challenging political environment.
