Project Snapshot
Located alongside the A12, the development will redesign the rundown Newton Industrial Estate into a scheme including 4-10 storey buildings providing 196 residential units (including 45% affordable homes), light industrial workshops, offices, a community centre and landscaped public outside spaces. A joint venture between The Al Noor Foundation & Gardens of Peace, with ULO Homes, the scheme will provide genuinely affordable housing, new public spaces, and a community building for local activities. Terrapin developed an engagement strategy to collaborate with local representatives, residents, and politicians. This approach enabled the partners to address stakeholder concerns and design a scheme that earned commendation from the Planning Committee.- Location
